I have started on some of those tutorials as I said I would. I am having so much fun writing them, who knew it could be so fun. I guess its because I love to write even if its just rubbish.
So I thought I would share with you some of my favourite things that I like to make. I love to make anything girly, hair bows and clips, dresses and anything pink. I have a beautiful daughter who I guess really acts as my inspiration.
One of my latest adventures in crafts thats follows the girly line of thought is the felt covered hair clips. I am going to write a lesson or two on this soon.
Look forward to your comments.

These are a few of my favourite things!

Where, oh where to start?
So where to start.
I am sitting on the couch watching a craft type show, and they are making something that I dont quite get. They are making a decoupage vase. The part I dont get is the technique. It seems that they do one thing, it looks great and next thing you know they are sloshing brown paint over it, only to spend the next 10 minutes trying to get it back to what it looked like before the paint! Hmmmm....
So I originally sat down on the couch with my laptop so that I could attempt to start this blog. My problem is that I dont really know where to start and what to write about. I asked a fellow blogger the other day for advise on how to start. She answered my question with a question. How did you name you blog. I answered with the first real answer of the conversation by saying, thats the name of my shop on Etsy.com. She then told me to go with that, and so I began to think. What can I write about crafting? What can I write about my store?
So after some thinking I have decided to blog about my trials and errors, good and bad experiences with crafts and techniques. I am also going to try my hand at some tutorials. Not a real flashy one, but a straight forward step by step with pictures set of instructions.
Some of the tutorials I am thinking of doing are;
* How to applique
* Making a Pillowcase Dress
* Crazy Quilting
* Felt and Fabric covered Clippies
* Felt and Fabric Flowers
* Wrapping Headbands
* Ribbon Roses
* Scrapbooking Tips
* Basics to sewing (Hand sewing and Machine Sewing)
If there is anything that you would like to learn based on something you see in my store, let me know.
My next problem.... How to deciede which tutorial to start on!
